Custom Sectionals & Sofas in Miami
Candace & Basil builds custom sectionals and sofas to order for Miami homes — your configuration, your dimensions, your fabric. Every frame is bench-made in North America rather than pulled from a warehouse, and you can sit on the pieces and handle the fabrics in person at our Design District showroom.
Why Miami living rooms need a custom sectional
Retail sectionals are built to a standard floor plan. Miami homes rarely are. A Brickell or Edgewater condo often has one usable wall and a balcony door that a standard chaise will block. A Coral Gables or Coconut Grove great room can carry a U-shape that no big-box retailer stocks. And South Florida humidity and sun are hard on upholstery that was specified for a milder climate.
Building to order lets you solve all three at once:
- Configuration — 2x1, 2x2, 2x3, arm chaise, corner chaise, U-shape, or a modular set you can rearrange later.
- Dimensions — overall length, seat depth and arm width tailored to the room rather than to a catalogue.
- Fabric — performance fabrics rated for humidity, UV and high traffic, alongside velvets, bouclés, chenilles and top-grain leathers.
- Suspension and fill — sinuous or coil springs, high-density foam, down or micro-gel wraps, specified to how firm you actually like to sit.

Stanton or Stanton II?
These are two distinct lines, not two names for the same thing. Stanton II is the premium build — heavier frame specification and a higher starting price. Stanton shares the tailored, tuxedo-style profile at a lower entry point. If you like the look and are working to a budget, start with Stanton. If you want the fullest specification, choose Stanton II.
Sizing a sectional for a Miami condo
The two mistakes we see most often in condo projects are a sectional that blocks a balcony slider and a chaise oriented to the wrong side of the room. Before you order, measure the wall you intend to use, the distance to any door swing or slider, and the elevator or stairwell you will need to get the piece through. Bring those numbers to the showroom or send them with a quote request and we will tell you honestly whether a configuration will work — including when the answer is that it will not.
How the process works
- Choose your series and configuration. Browse online or visit the Miami showroom to sit with the pieces.
- Specify size, fabric and fill. Our team confirms the details and flags anything that will not work in your space.
- We build it. Bench-made to order with a kiln-dried hardwood frame, high-density foam and a non-sag suspension system.
- Delivery. White glove delivery throughout Miami and South Florida, and nationwide shipping across the USA.
Because we manufacture in-house, lead times run in weeks rather than the multi-month waits common across South Florida. Your exact timeline depends on the series and fabric, and we confirm it before you order.

Frequently asked questions
Do you deliver custom sectionals in Miami?
Yes. We deliver throughout Miami and South Florida with white glove service, and ship nationwide across the USA.
Can you build a sectional to a size that isn't listed?
Yes. Send us your measurements and we will build to them, including non-standard lengths and seat depths.
How long does a custom sectional take?
Because we manufacture in-house, lead times are measured in weeks rather than months. The exact timeline depends on the series and fabric you choose, and we confirm it before you place the order.
Which fabrics hold up best in Miami?
Performance fabrics rated for UV and humidity are the safest choice for rooms with strong sun exposure or heavy use. We will steer you toward the right durability rating for the room rather than just the colour you liked first.
Can I add to a modular sectional later?
With the Nimbus and Paloma series, yes — they are built as true modular components, so you can add sections later. Fabric availability can change over time, so tell us if you plan to expand and we will note it on your order.
Where are your sectionals made?
Every frame is handcrafted in North America in our own facilities, then delivered to Miami.
