BORN INTO FURNITURE

Gaurav Nijhawan is the Creative Director at Candace & Basil, a family-owned business known for exceptional craftsmanship and custom furniture.

From roller blading in the family warehouse as a child, to building a brand rooted in family and craft, Gaurav was all-in on furniture.

With the family business as the foundation, Gaurav was able to pursue his dream of building a luxury furniture brand. Currently, he and his brothers focus on growing their in-house manufacturing in Mississauga to offer unlimited flexibility, the best quality, and the fastest lead times all while opening more locations in North America.
